Accommodations Tax (ATAX)

Accommodations Tax (ATAX) Advisory Committee
The purpose of the ATAX Advisory Committee is to solicit and hear requests for the two percent (2%) State of South Carolina Accommodations Tax proceeds collected in Spartanburg County (except within the corporate limits of the City of Spartanburg). The committee submits a recommendation for distribution of available funds to the Spartanburg County Administrator and the Spartanburg County Council. Committee members serve a term of four (4) years. Meetings are generally held in March and April, with an additional meting in the fall if necessary.
