CAMPOBELLO TEEN RECEIVES 5-YEAR PRISON TERM FOR SEXUAL ASSALUT ON NEIGHBORHOOD DOG
A Campobello teen received a 5-year prison sentence today after he admitted to having sex with his neighbor’s dog.
Cory Williamson, 18, pleaded guilty to ill treatment of an animal before Circuit Judge John Few. He will be housed in the Department of Corrections’ Youthful Offender Division. The amount of time served will be determined by his performance in rehabilitation programs.
The assault occurred May 21, 2005 at Summer Meadow Trail home. The dog, a 6-month-old Pit Bull named, “Princess,” died from internal injuries. Two witnesses to the crime gave detailed statement to Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies.
Solicitor Trey Gowdy and Assistant Solicitor Tony Leibert prosecuted the case.
Williamson is currently awaiting trial on two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
